Ellis Island, les portes de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenant r\u00e9nov\u00e9, ce monument situ\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00eele d\u2019Ellis, en face de New-York a vu passer de nombreuses familles europ\u00e9ennes qui venaient en Am\u00e9rique pour fuir la pauvret\u00e9, les pers\u00e9cutions religieuses, \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des jeunes, des vieux, qui quittaient leur famille, leurs amis pour se construire une vie meilleure. Ils \u00e9taient courageux de tout quitter, de braver la mer, la promiscuit\u00e9 sur le bateau, le langage et la culture de cette nouvelle terre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce tableau est un hommage \u00e0 tous ces immigrants qui ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9s les Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et comme l\u2019histoire se r\u00e9p\u00e8te\u2026 ce tableau parle \u00e0 la fois du pass\u00e9, mais aussi du pr\u00e9sent et du futur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le tableau par ses couleurs chaudes et gaies repr\u00e9sente un nouveau d\u00e9part, un avenir meilleur. Cependant certains d\u2019entre eux ne passeront pas la porte promise apr\u00e8s les tests et repartiront en Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le style pictural est rapide, dynamique et audacieux. Il est fait de couches successives, rapides. Le tableau est fait de petites touches de couleur pour lui donner un dynamisme, on est dans une \u00ab impression \u00bb, je ne cherche pas la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 mais une atmosph\u00e8re.

Le tableau est pr\u00eat \u00e0 accrocher au mur, il est prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par un vernis acrylique brillant qui fait ressortir l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des couleurs, les bords sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par un ruban blanc.

Il est dat\u00e9, sign\u00e9 et d\u00e9livr\u00e9 avec un certificat d\u2019authenticit\u00e9 et une facture.

Ellis Island, the doors of the USA
Now nicely renovated, this building situated on an island facing New-York seen so many migrants fleeing the poverty, the religious persecution in Europe.
They came young, old, with family and friends to reach the promised land of hope and wealth!
They were brave to face the water, the promiscuity on a ship, the barrier of the language, a new country. Leaving behind their friends and family.
This painting is a tribute to these brave people who shape the USA.
As history repeats itself…, this painting speaks for the past, but also the present and the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The painting is cheerful with bright colours, it represents a new beginning for the people coming to America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, some of them, after many tests, wouldn\u2019t be accepted and they were sent back to their country in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My painting is made of thousands of multi-coloured touches of paint, sometimes imperceptible: these little impressionism touches give the painting an atmosphere. I don\u2019t want to make it realistic.

The sides of the painting are protected by a white ribbon: no need to frame. Delivered with a certificate of authenticity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
