Le soleil se couche sur la ville de Londres. Les lumières électriques ont remplacé celle du soleil et mettent en valeur le célèbre « Tower bridge ». Les touristes côtoient les employés qui rentrent chez eux.
Ce lieu emblématique et historique brille sous la lumière des projecteurs modernes et nous rappelle que nous sommes au 21ème siècle.
Néanmoins, l’atmosphère est intemporelle, avec ce brouillard qui tombe sur la ville abandonnée à la nuit et ces personnages féériques que l’on voit au loin ; on est dans un décor de film tiré d’un livre de Dickens mais revu par Guy Ritchie.
