New-York-Manhattan

Acrylique sur Toile (89x116x2 cm) Salon D’Automne PARIS Champs-Elysées; 2020

2600€ + livraison

C’est un voyage dans un film, une série TV, c’est l’histoire de l’Amérique, ce sont les portes du rêve américain;

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

On show at SALON DAUTOMNE PARIS 2020 11-14 Oct.

Painting from photographs without being on the spot has giving me the opportunity to re-create the city, not being focused on the reality. It has given me the power to shape the city as I wanted it to be; according to my wish. To go beyond reality and to work freely on the topic.

New-York; Manhattan
The craziness of these beautiful and powerful buildings in one of the most beautiful city of the world.
I loved the contrast between old and new skyscrapers.
Contrast enhanced by the colours blue-grey and brown

While I was painting it, I went on a trip in a movie, New-York is the city where you go shopping with Carry Bradshaw, you walk in Manhattan with Hanna and her sisters and close a deal with Gordon Gekko.
