Fives-Lille
Fives est un quartier de Lille (Nord de la France) que j’ai découvert récemment.
Je l’ai aimé pour cette architecture qui mélange les briques, le verre, l’acier et le bois mais aussi parce que la ville, probablement, ou la région ont décidé de conserver ce patrimoine architectural et industriel qui raconte notre passé, notre industrie.
Les bâtiments sont reconvertis et intégrés dans un ensemble vivant, à la fois ancien et moderne.
Ce tableau, bien que très réaliste laisse cependant des traces de mystères, par le jeu des fenêtres du bâtiment en premier ligne, donc on ne sait pas s’il est abandonné ou s’il est occupé.
La lumière très présente vient donc à la fois du soleil qui se reflète sur les bâtiments et à deux fenêtres presque incongrues d’où s’échappe ombres et lumières rouges.
Le tableau est prêt à accrocher au mur, il est protégé par un vernis acrylique brillant qui fait ressortir l’intensité des couleurs, les cotés sont peints.
Il est daté, signé et délivré avec un certificat d’authenticité et une facture.

Fives is a district of Lille (in the north of France) that I recently discovered.
I was drawn to it for its architecture, which combines brick, glass, steel, and wood, but also because the city—or perhaps the region—has chosen to preserve this architectural and industrial heritage that tells the story of our past and our industry.
The buildings have been repurposed and integrated into a dynamic whole, both old and modern.
This painting, though highly realistic, retains an air of mystery. The interplay of windows on the building in the foreground leaves us uncertain— is it abandoned or still inhabited?
The strong presence of light comes both from the sun reflecting off the buildings and from two almost incongruous windows, from which shadows and red-tinted light escape.
