Il ne faut pas voir uniquement dans ce dernier tableau l’image d’un salon de coiffure à New-York. En effet, comme la plupart de mes œuvres vous avez plusieurs significations.
Comme il est composé de nombreuses couches de peintures qui se superposent, il offre plusieurs interprétations : une jeune femme dans un salon de coiffure.
Un salon de coiffure de décoration classique, voire un peu veillotte et des couleurs irréelles comme un décor de théâtre.
Une jeune femme moderne, androgyne, personnage libre, un peu féminin, un peu masculin. Personnage quasi solitaire, deux autres figures sont presque fantomatiques dans un coin. On y voit ici une référence à mon passé.
Ce tableau m’a été inspiré par un salon de coiffure new-yorkais mais aussi par la relecture des pièces ambiguës de Tennessee Williams qui ont influencées les couleurs et l’atmosphère générale du tableau.
Le tableau est prêt à accrocher au mur, il est protégé par un vernis acrylique brillant qui fait ressortir l’intensité des couleurs, les cotés sont peints en gris .
Il est daté, signé et délivré avec un certificat d’authenticité et une facture.

One should not see in this last painting merely the image of a hair salon in New York. In fact, it allows multiple interpretations just as there are many layers of paint overlapping one another.
You’ll see a young woman in a hair salon.
A hair salon with a classical, even slightly old-fashioned décor, with irreal colours like on a stage sets.
A modern, androgynous young woman, a free character, partly feminine, partly masculine. It is a nearly solitary figure, with two other figures almost erased in a corner. Here, one can also glimpse a reference to my past.
This painting was inspired by a New York hair salon, but also by revisiting the plays of Tennessee Williams—ambiguous works that influenced the colours and the overall atmosphere of the piece.
Acrylic on stretched linen canvas on wooden frame, protected by a bright acrylic varnish, to enhance the colours; the sides are painted in grey.
