Painting: Acrylic on Canvas, Wood.

Showed at the Salon d’Automne (Art Fair PARIS, CHAMPS-ELYSEES 11-13 oct. 2019)

Juliet’s balcony. View from an old theater in Paris, France: The Ranelagh.
The theater is where I come from; I played in this theater when I was younger. So this painting has a particular appeal to me.
It’s why I also decided to change the style of the painting to focus on the lights and shadows, the colours and monochromes instead of focusing on the elements. Every corner, movement, is suggestive just delicately.
I took a real pleasure to do this painting because of the topic and above all of the style: getting rid of the figurative way and the proportion, the perspective… was really liberating.
