Ce tableau est une reprise en petit format d’un grand tableau « Entre chien et loup » ; mais autant le premier était sur un thème de la vie et du passage des années, autant celui là est simplement une représentation d’un bonheur de vacances sans arrière-pensée et sans second degré.
Le geste devient plus libre, les couleurs font fi des conventions et de la réalité ; c’est un tableau d’expression libre. Entre impressionnisme et expressionnisme.

The painting represents the blue sky of a summer holiday, a swimming pool to relax, the red colours of the trees symbol of passion and fire: happy holiday.
This painting was a kind of replica of “Entre chien et loup”, a bigger painting. Although the bigger was speaking about life, and passage of time, this one is just about the holiday on the sun with no secondary meaning.
The artistic gesture is lighter, freer than some other paintings, it’s a combination between impressionism and expressionism.
The painting is painted white on the sides; a varnish protects the painting. Ready to hang on a wall.
