C’est la saison d’hiver qui m’inspire ces lieux clos, théâtres, magasins. Des lieux chaleureux et colorés où l’on trouve refuge contre le froid et la tristesse d’une soirée d’hiver.
Pour moi le théâtre est un cocon bienfaiteur, un lieu de rêve et de magie qui protège le temps de quelques heures contre la réalité.
Le style pictural est rapide, dynamique et audacieux. Il est fait de couches successives, rapides, l’ensemble du tableau parait rouge mais il est fait de milliers de petits touches de couleur pour lui donner un dynamisme, une impression, une irréalité.
Les personnages du premier plan sont suggérés, ils se fondent dans le décor.
Le tableau est prêt à accrocher au mur, il est protégé par un vernis acrylique brillant qui fait ressortir l’intensité des couleurs.

The theatre is a refuge and a beneficial cocoon, a place of dream and magical power.
The painting style is dynamic and bold. It is made up of successive, vivid and colourful brushstrokes that makes the painting lively.
My painting is made of thousands of multi-coloured touches of paint, sometimes imperceptible: these little impressionism touches make a realistic painting.
